Himmel und Humus
About heaven and hummus
Himmel & Humus is a community-supported agriculture (SoLaWi) in Nieklitz, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Supported by Amelie, Sophie and Laura, the collective grows fresh organic vegetables - regeneratively, in solidarity and locally. Their wise path combines agriculture with social change: short transport routes, cyclical working models, fair pay and the empowerment of women, queers and marginalised groups in agriculture. As part of the future place We are building the future Himmel & Humus sees itself as a learning and research space in which community, climate protection and regional value creation are put into practice. This creates a model of how food systems can be designed to be regenerative, fair and sustainable.
